Dzyuba`s double did not help Russia
Two goals from Artem Dzyuba did not help Russia escape as they lost to Germany 2:3 in U-19 Euro opener.
Russia were two goals behind Germany after halftime but Spartak starlet Artem Dzyuba cut the gap to one goal only when back from the lockers.
However, the Germans managed to extend the lead to 3:1 and the injury time goal from Dzyuba was only a consolation one.
"I am not satisfied with our display," said Russia`s manager Ravil Sabitov after the match.
"We had a number of scoring opportunities but we failed to convert them."
"Yet we have France and Serbia clashes ahead so we have not lost anything so far."
